Domain Name

If you are brand new, and don't have a domain name yet, we can help you pick a good one based on SEO techniques, and then help guide you in purchasing it, and pointing it to your new OrcaPack website.

Hosting

Every OrcaPack website is hosted by us. You don't have to pay additional money to host your website somewhere else. In addition we provide regular backups of your site, as well as take care of any other hosting issues that might arise, from updating server software or architecture, or any number of things you probably have no idea what they are. If your website is a car, then we're not only your car, but we're your garage as well.

Full CMS Solution

CMS stands for Content Management System. We use Drupal as a base for OrcaPack websites so that you can go onto any page of your website, at any time, and change the content there yourself. You don't have to go through anyone else to do it. Plus you can add pages to your site as well essentially iving you an unlimited number of pages you could have on your site (fitting within hosting limitations of course.)

Graphics

You can use an effictely unlimited number of graphics or images per page that you provide. We'll show you how to add or link to them. If you need stock photography we can help advise you on what imagery to use, and how to purchase it.

Custom Design

If you'd like a custom design, they're available as mentioned above for an additional charge for your first year.

Discussion Forums

We'll help you set up discussion forums on your site. You can set up as many topic groupings and forums as you like. You can have public forums, or private forums for your members, or a combination. You can even have super private forums just for officers in your organization or select groups.

Blogs

You can set up as many blogs for individuals on your site as you like. If you want to provide every member of your organization with a blog, you can, or you can have blogs for only certain members.

Membership Registration

New members will be able to register and sign up via your website, and we'll provide you with reporting features to track it.

Shopping Cart

You'll be able to sell items, event tickets, and more on your OrcaPack website via Ubercart. 6 purchasing forms can be created by OrcaPack or your staff.

Coupons and Discount Codes

If you'd like to offer coupons or discount codes to people to encourage them to sign up for events, or purchase items, the functionality is built in.

SSL Certificate

An SSL certificate for a secure site for one year is included with every new signup (it's non-refundable). SSL is what gives you that little 'lock' icon on your browser when you know it's secure so you can use your credit card information on certain sites. Without it you would not be able to securely sell anything via your shopping cart.

Twitter and Facebook Integration

OrcaPack websites integrate with your Twitter feeds and Facebook pages. Blogs you post can automatically be tweeted by your OrcaPack website to your feed for instance.

Facebook-like Statuses for your Members

You can even have a facebook like status system in your website for just your members if you wish, giving them similar features to the Facebook status but just within your website.

Activity Trackers

Also like on many social networking sites you can have an activity feed along with Facebook-like Statuses to really promote creating a social hub on your website if that's your desire.

Photo Galleries

With OrcaPack it's easy to add new photo galleries either for the public, or for just your members to view. You'll be limited only by your server space, but otherwise you can have as many photo galleries as you like.

Membership Based Content Areas

Control what parts of your site are available only to your members, and which are available to the general public via a login.

Built in Rich Text Editor

it's a little bit like Microsoft Word. Whenever you create content on your OrcaPack website you'll have a rich editor to help you style your content.

Scheduled Content Posting

Need to post the winners for a contest but don't want to have to get up at 6am on Monday morning to do it? You can make the page and then schedule it to go live at a later date.
